The countryside of Kien Tuong – Moc Hoa belong to Long An province, in the Mekong Delta area. They are located at the central part of the Dong Thap Muoi zone, where the low lands are flooded throughout several months of the year. People are living mainly on rice farming. At the north border of Moc Hoa is the Cambodia border.

  • At 04h30, the bus will pick up from the gather point at the Palace of Culture. Departed to Kien Tuong town of Long An province, over 120km from Ho Chi Minh City. This area sits next to Cambodia border with a special ecological area, typical of Long An province as well as the Southern area of the country.
  • Stop for breakfast at Kien Tuong.
  • Taking pictures of white and pink Water Lily flowers harvesting. A very typical scene during the flooed period in Moc Hoa - Long An, where hundreds hectares of lands used for planting water lily that can fulfill the needs of the entire Southern area.
  • Taking pictures of daily life of people who capturing eels. The eel traps (called "trúm") are usually made of black plastic tubes, about 1,2 meters long. One side are fitted with carefully crafted bamboo net and the other side is blocked. Bait is put into each trap, when the eel has been inside the trap, there will be no way back out.
  • Have lunch with local specialties food: Linh fish, Dien Dien flowers, grilled chicken and frozen vegetables...
  • Taking pictures of kids playing kites along the dike.
  • Sunset scene with buffalo herds heading back to their shelters
  • Have dinner
  • Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City
  • Arrived at the Palace of Culture in Ho Chi Minh city at around 21h00. Tour ends with great memories and stunning pictures.
